Yes, the record speaks pretty loud, but you've just pinned everything on one guy without knowing what the real issues are. "The buck stops at the top" is fine and dandy in some fields of business, but Detmer didnt hire these assistant coaches or recruit these players.

Its a team game and the pieces haven't come together on offense. Maybe that's mostly on Detmer, maybe its not. IMO, several coaches have failed to get the most out of their players.
