because I don't read to much into a single game or even season.  I think after a 7 years it is obvious that Indy makes it much harder for BYU to have great and exciting seasons.  We are far less relevant on the National Stage after September then we were as a member of the MWC or WAC.  Beating a good team here and there won't change that.  In Bronco's last year if we had beat Nebraska and Boise to start the year, then moved into a schedule like 2001 or 1996 or even 1984, that team would be remebered the same as those teams and probably finished 11-2 at worst, likely 12-1 or 13-0.    Instead we went on the road to a top ranked UCLA team and then on the Road to a top ranked michigan team.  Suicide.  All the excitiement is snuffed out, and we end up beating Idaho and New Mexico state for nothing in November and going to the Vegas Bowl.  Winning is contagiuous, if teams are used to winning even against weaker competion they believe they can win against better competition when it is time to play it.  Once you start losing like we are now, that is really hard to break out of culturally.
