It seemed everyone there was wearing MSU shirts. We were like celebrities. Lots of people welcoming us, shaking hands, etc. Our waiter was awesome - a guy in his last semester of school at MSU. He was sharp getting us water and an appetizer, but after we sat there for nearly an hour, we determined something was off. He came back with his manager apologizing profusely. He had forgotten to turn in our order. They provided us with two things: 1) free dessert; and 2) they'll cheer for BYU tomorrow. The food was fantastic. We also enjoyed the atmosphere and I was engaged in the Syracuse/Clemson game, so I didn't really mind the wait. We have found the people here to be warm, friendly and great. A family checking into the hotel with all the kids dressed in MSU gear had a bag of cowbells. I said: "Hey, we don't need more cowbell." The parents laughed. The little kids didn't get it.
We're looking forward to the experience tomorrow, hoping to witness the silencing the cowbells. But, if not, at least we're not being called "Tiger bait". (LSU fans were all so lame.)
