29 years to be exact. I went and watched them play the Cubs in wrigley back in April and watched the Cubs hang their banner and then a couple of nights later have their trophy ceremony and thought how much i want to see the Dodgers do the same.

Then I made a trek to Mecca (Dodger Stadium) in July and almost balled watching Kershaw leave the game early with an injury thinking that might end all hope.

I then went and watched them in San Diego over Labor Day weekend and watched them lose 3 of 4 and mire themselves in a weeks long losing streak and just couldn't believe how badly they'd fallen from their previous pace.

But I kept hoping, and it looks like they've got it going pretty good.

It's not done yet but I'm enjoying this ride, I've waited a long time for there to really be a chance. There's a chance, a real one. I'm glued to my tv for the duration.
