In the south, maybe things are different where you have christian churches that are anti-mo. I've never lived there, so wouldn't know. But in my experience, in the west, the most anti-mormons you find are in places where mormons tend to exert a lot of influence. In places where there aren't many mos, non-mos don't seem to care about them or pay them much attention.
