He quite humbly said he needed to regain some patience he had lost -- & wait for things to develop in that split second before he made his move.

His cuts have also been something wicked lately. I hardly even remember that aspect of his running till a few games ago. Perhaps he was trying too hard to run straight to the hole rather than run his game.

I'll agree the transformation seems a bit of mystery still, though. He's really looked good lately in ways that can't be adequately explained by the drop in competition.
