Real head scratcher.
IMO it does not matter if you are recruit or active player, the rules are the rules and Emery knew it. Very tough to rationalize, he came from a family that had the means to pay for things so don't punish him, but if you come from a poor family you cannot take extra benefits. Rules are the rules, that is why it is so mistifying why he potentially accepted extra benefits.
