First you say rankings don't matter, there is no correlation to rankings and success (including getting in the NFL - you then name examples).  Then you state rankings are based on who recruits you because the coaches are the best talent evaluators......thus the 5 star players are more likely to pan out vs lower tier players based on talent evaluators (ie rankings do have some correlation and do matter over the long run).
