catch or dampen the sound from someone's voice. I looked at accoustical foam, but it's too expensive, and it seems that's only neccessary for low frequencies anyways. So, I'm going with the cheap ugly stuff from Walmart. The problem is it's ugly. Would it still help dampen sounds if I were to cover it with a poster or maybe even some fabric? I'm thinking I could hide the foam so it looks like a poster or something on the wall, but I worry that'll kill the sound absorbing qualities I'm looking for. This is a serious question, even if it sounds really dumb. Don't let me down, CB.
