that would happen is if there were major scandals involving football players that brought embarrassment to the church. Most D1 schools are going to give a new HC at least 3 years, usually 4. I doubt that KS gets 4 if next season is as bad as this one though. He is on the hot seat now and is having to make drastic changes to keep his job. He made the right decision even if most fans are angry about it. Most fans would have made the same decision if they were in his shoes.
