Once an offense sets up in the half court, there is nothing more beautiful than crisp passing to setup an open shot. Once a guy puts the ball on the floor it ruins it. Typically it results in either a turnover or the other 4 guys standing around watching.
Someone is going to point out that a dribble drive and dish is a good thing, but it pales in comparison to 5 guys moving the ball before the defense can react.
BTW, Cannon is really good at this. He passes the ball almost immediately. It seldom stays in his hands for more than a second
