I understand that stereotypes exist for a reason, but some of the posts I've read about the discipline of the BYU football program make me a little uncomfortable. The program may very well have a discipline issue right now, and if it does, the staff are likely responsible, but going beyond that to generalize an entire culture or race gets dicey (I know not all have done this).
Does anyone think the discipline issues would be the same if Robert Anae was the head coach? Does anyone think the discipline issues would be different if Rick Neuheusel was the head coach?
Let's be a little more careful.
