I'm Stake president and it is perfectly fine to prepay tithing. It shows faith in the future. Heber C Grant
would pay tithing on the amount he wanted to make the next year. He also would prepay tithing when he was trying raise funds, paying tithing on the amount he needed to raise. One time in a period of great illness I know of a self employed man who prepaid tithing in this manner in the next six months of his life. Even during great illness he was able to provide for his family as needed. He attributes it as a blessing for tithing.
