My son is on a 6-year old basketball team run through the YMCA. It is a non-competitive league. There is no stealing, no shot blocking, no travel or double-dribble calls, and they don’t keep score.

Admittedly, my son is not very good. He tries hard but is not very coordinated. There are 9 kids on the team. Today was the first game. My son and another kid only played a short stretch in the second quarter while others played most of the game.

I was pretty mad afterwards. If this happens again, I plan to tell the coach how ridiculous I think it is but my wife thinks I am overreacting. What does the collective “wisdom” of Cougarboard think?
