to our rival law school, but keep athletics on welfare, anything we do is insignificant. At least, that's how I see it.

Am I wrong? Why am I writing checks when the sponsoring organization won't?

Not revenue. If BYU wants to be a P5, the church needs to subsidize it so the funding is equal to a successful P5.

Like I said, it needs to be a priority. The best coaches they can get. Salaries that match successful P5 salaries.
