President John Tyler (10th President of the United States) was born in 1790. At
63 years old in 1853, he had a son Lyon Tyler. In 1924 (he was 71), Lyon had a son Lyon Jr, and in 1928 (when he was 75) another son Harrison.
Both Lyon Jr and Harrison Tyler are still alive today. Their dad was 8 years old when the war started... the Civil War. And their grandfather was born 3 years after the US Constitution was ratified.
