which just meant we stayed awake, and walked around the barracks so that if there was a fire we could wake up all of the sleeping soldiers. Anyway, it was the end of my shift, and my battle buddy just needed to use the latrine before we woke the next shift. So I was standing up against the wall in the barracks, and the next thing I knew, I woke up with the Drill Sergeant holding my nose closed to cause me to wake up. I should have thought quickly and said, "Amen," but I didn't. Aww, the memories.
