As a grunt in Vietnam I used to beg guys not to smoke weed when we were on
patrols. The VC/NVA used to always smoke it. If our guys wouldn’t smoke it I could smell the others smoking it and knew we were in danger. Few paid any attention to me. It would have saved lives if my own guys would have listened.
