I'm confident the scouts were well aware of Eric Mika and Brandon Davies as well
Davies played a handful of games in the NBA as an UDFA. Mika barely touched any mock drafts. BYU simply does not put players in the NBA.
I would love to be proved wrong. It's not a slam on him individually as a player. Eli is an incredible ball player and I love watching him play. I want him to succeed as much as any of us. But knowing the BYU Hoops program, my money is on him not getting drafted and going the route other best players on our team like KC and Davies had to.
