I'm really surprised at all the negative comments to this post.
The guy didn't say anything that isn't factual.

Like any college sport, the top schools dominate the draft classes. Transferring to a "P5" school only gets Eli more noticed, especially if the team does well.

At BYU he will suffer from the Jimmer example (in the eyes of NBA scouts and front office execs). "The kid is GREAT at BYU in the WCC, but they don't play anyone and their conference is especially weak. If he were a true talent, BYU wouldn't be the 3-4 best team in the conference."

I certainly don't want him to go anywhere being a fan, but taking off the blue goggles...if Eli's #1 goal is the NBA, then transferring should be a consideration. But my guess is that Eli values BYU, his bball brothers, and the environment he is creating at BYU. He loves those things and he is going to stick around (which is great for all of us!).

But I see nothing wrong with the statement to the linked post. It is sad, but the guys is right.
