I know it seems like it was the cause but this is the same logical fallacy used by people who feel vaccines cause autism. Just because the event preceded the disease doesn't mean they are in any way related.

I can understand the need to place blame on something mysterious to you like vaccines and I'm sorry you are going through this but you are a bit misguided and perpetuating this myth is bad for public health.
