I understand what you're getting at. Incidentally he's referring to a cultural stereotype, that by the way I've myself heard polys joke about.
The one you reference here is odd, because I don't see creating more of a family atmosphere as a negative.

But you say he has several. This proves what most people are saying, including me, that those who do criticize him through race are tiny vocal minority.
I still contend that the overwhelming majority of criticism thrown at Kalani has been some at team discipline, accountability, and organizational culture.
Some have criticized that he hired his buddies, but I don't see how that can be interpreted as racist.
