Guys that don't go to the NBA leave early all the time
Whether it be as a grad transfer or to pursue professional bball like Mika. Both Mika and plaisted left early despite not making an NBA roster.
If you think players are a lock to come back just because they aren't a projected draft pick then you vastly misunderstand the current climate for players who have graduated but have 1 years of eligibility.
It's not uncommon for a star of a lower school transfer to a better program when he knows he can start day 1 at that program. Gonzaga makes a living off players like that.
Elijah Bryant himself has already ditched one school for a better one by going from Elon to byu.
I think chances are Eli stats but in the current climate if college hoops every coach is nervous when it comes to guys that have already graduated.
