Do you think scouts only knew about Jackson because he went to Duke?
Draft express had their first profile of him after his junior year in high school. He was high on national recruiting lists after his freshman year in high school. He played in the Nike Hoop Summit, the McDonalds All-American Game, and for the USA National Jr. team.

But somehow with all the information out there available to common fans, you must think that NBA scouts who are paid to thoroughly evaluate every potential draftable prospect, somehow would have had less information on him than Rivals or Draft Express.

Or maybe you think that NBA scouts are too lazy or incompetent at their jobs to scout players outside of maybe 50 or so schools in the country.

Or I guess you think that the scouts would have just discounted anything he would have done at BYU because of where he was playing, even though they had already scouted him significantly prior to him even going to college.

So what evidence is out there that Jackson wouldn't have been drafted coming out of BYU or that Jabari Parker, who was on the cover of SI while in high school with a title "The best high school basketball player since Lebron James" would have dropped in the draft had he gone to BYU?
