P5 have approved a measure requiring medical care after college.
The measure requires the schools to provide medical care for two years after the athlete leaves school. Mental health care is also in the measure.
Schools have the discretion on how to provide that care.
They can also extend care beyond the 2-year mandate, if they choose.
They also approved a measure giving BB players a 3 consecutive days off, during December.

My guess is this isn't a trivial additional expense

Does this mean they are also going to full coverage during school as well?

Yes, that is my understanding.
