I think it does if there’s some trust involved.
If he screams about an obvious bad call and works them the rest of the game with a degree of respect, it gets in the refs heads in the right way. If he caterwalls the entire game about every little thing the refs are gonna time it out as white noise. I think he did it right on Saturday.

The best coaches know the balance. I wonder if Rose isn’t still shedding the nice guy and learning how to work this better.
