A power run-style like what LSU used. If you look at our offensive linemen, they're really not the type that can hold up well against fast edge rushers or blitz schemes that require agile footwork and quick adjustments, with maybe Shoaf being the exception. Most of our linemen appear to be giant road grader types who excel at pushing the man in front of them back and opening holes for guys to run through.
This wide receiver group is not good enough to consistently make plays against good DBs that are athletic, well-coached, or both. The games against LSU, Utah, Wisconsin, Miss State and Boise proved that last year. The offense needs to lean heavily on the run game and Bushman this year, with just enough passes to the wide receivers to keep opposing defenses on their toes.
