I think of it as a local, positive, version of trickle down econ. I can afford
a few extra bucks for dinner, or a hotel, or whatever. The delivery kid/waiter/etc could use it. It moves some money into the hands of a person who is really working. It allows the restaurant owner to save a little money. It keeps the money local. I think it's good for everyone.
