Yeah I just had to bump to the bottom of the rung health insurance plan because
my Blue cross blue shield plan was discontinued this year (they now only offer our plan to large groups),

Cost went up (about $1500/month), deductible stayed high ($5000), the quality went down a lot from what I can tell so far.

The new plan is so bad that almost no providers accept it around us and we have to travel 45 min to a decent doctor, but we are stuck with it for the year.

The other option is the high end plan which costs 3k-4k a month for a small family, either that or one of those Christian health plan deals which make me nervous for a few reasons (mostly just not time tested with major incidents. Also my family goes to the doctor a decent amount right now).

It's crazy that if you don't work for a company with a large group health care plan most Americans are literally not going to be able to afford health insurance or that it will take a huge cut of their income.

The system is such a joke right now if you are self employed.
