I don't know the WCC revenue numbers well enough to support. But if you have an overall better product, (and depth of quality) then you get a higher contract for TV revenues.

Zags don't have a large arena, so they aren't making their money from ticket sales. They make it from TV revenue and donations.

The flaw in the process is conferences are going to realign to better their product first. Its about revenues (which may follow the product a little, but tv markets win out first). For that purpose I'd drop one of the New Mexico's and keep Fresno State. The Central California market is big enough to command attention. And leave off Wyoming. There's only 500k people in Wyoming. I know there's history there, but that shouldn't dictate conference status. Opportuntiy for growth and sustainable quality should be.
