Gonzaga isn't what many of you wish to profess.  They are the cream of a conference with three legitimate basketball programs that play in rec centers and in front of smaller crowds than large Utah high school programs.

How do you think the 'Zags would have fared last year in the Pac-12 against Oregon, Arizona, and UCLA?  Do you honestly think they would have won that conference and been given a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament?  They probably would have lost 5-6 games last year in the Pac-12.  To present a counterargument is just silly.

Take Wichita State for example.  They have been dominating an inferior conference (MVC) over the past 5 years and are now third place in a pretty good AAC.  Their games are far more competitive and that wears on a team over the course of a season.
