You are saying that Gonzaga would not improve if in a P-5 conference. Gonzaga has an incredibly high win percentage against P5 and ranked teams even with recruiting, financial, and conference limitations. If Gonzaga was in a P-5 conference then their budget and recruiting ability would greatly increase (even though their recruiting is pretty good right now). They would be able to handle the wear just fine. If they had the resources of P-5 conference, they would compete just fine in a P-5 conference so long as Few is the coach. They would continue to compete for conference championships and also continue to make the tournament. I would be willing to bet any amount of money that they would finish top 2 in the Pac-12 this year.
