It is only NOT OK if there are better recruits that would come to BYU.
It seems likely there are better recruits that would come to BYU, but hard to know how many.
Being in the WCC isn't helping this specific issue, either. Convince a non-LDS, out-of-state, kid who is BETTER THAN the recruits BYU is getting now to come play for BYU, in the WCC. . . . it is a tough sell.
