5 recent NBA players.... Seems like there's always national recruits floating around the county now. I just looked back through BYU's rosters to 2000 and really the only UC guys that were "whiffs"....were like the Ian Harward types where you're not going to pass on them because they are huge, can move, block shots. You just don't pass on size that aren't total stiffs. But the vast majority were studs.

I'm all for some International guys too. JC recruiting is the bigger issue though. I can't remember the last JC player that we signed that we were on early - they seem to be last resort late help. Hardnett was a good find for a late plug but there's a lot of talented JC guys that end up at UC Davis and those types of schools that could help fill some gaps at BYU.
