come who he is confident would keep the HC and help the team, he probably would. Getting players here who struggle with the HC doesn't help BYU, the basketball program, or Rose.

And it's true, we certainly don't own high morals, but there aren't many people outside our small Mormon bubble who live by the complete set of rules the HC mandates. There are some who are chaste. There are some who obey the WoW (probably not many when factoring in coffee...). There are some who keep the dress and grooming standards. How many do you think there are who are willing to do all of these? Probably pretty few (heck, there are more than a few LDS who are likely unwilling to do all this), and probably only guys who have zero other options. And, if they have no other options, is it realistic to think they'd be a big boost for the program?
