I’m not a Rose hater. I think he’s a solid coach and works hard at his job, but he doesn’t put a lot of effort into recruiting.

I know multiple former BYU players that told me that they recruited BYU and there wasn’t much effort from Rose reaching out.

I know plenty of people that have sent film to Rose and staff on high school players that they have put on the side and not looked heavily into.

Obviously I’m aware of the restrictions to recruit at BYU. It’s not an easy job, but in my 10 years of following BYU recruiting I have seen a lack of effort on Rose’s part to recruit.

Maybe you’re right that “lazy” is too strong of a word, but Rose definitely doesn’t have recruiting at the top of his list of priorities and could be spending more time focusing on it.
