If you think the top recruits care one bit about playing for a MWC championship
you're nuts. An SEC, Big12, ACC, BIg10, Pac12 championship? Sure! A MWC championship? No way on earth
What we have to sell recruits right now is that we play big time teams on a big time stage in awesome venues and that almost all of your games will be on ESPN, not hidden on some second rate channel that nobody watches.
And the fact that if by some miracle, you beat all those big time teams, you're likely going to have the chance to play for something special.
You can't sell any of that in the MWC

You're right. But in order to try to keep up, Indy is better due to the schedules it offers to kids. And $$ to BYU.
