Every one of Stanford's athletic scholarships are endowed. BYU is working to do the same. By doing so, that will be a huge expense lifted off the athletic program. BYU's facilities are paid for up front and endowments are set up for the yearly maintenance costs. He's trying to reduce costs so we can compete despite lower income.

All of BYU facilities are set up for HDTV broadcasts from our BYUTV facility. More facilities are being upgraded or plans are being made to upgrade them. TH is working hard to upgrade fan experiences for football and basketball. Many of the Olympic sports are doing fantastic. Who knows what relationships he's trying to cultivate in regards to a possible P5 membership but even if it doesn't happen, he's trying to ensure BYU can succeed anyway. IMO, TH is doing a great job. He can't control everything unfortunately.
