Least you forget that the WCC Admin takes probably at least the 60-70% of the credits to rune the conference.  The rest is then divided up equally with the rest.  GU wants more than the paltry amoun they are getting. 

The MW divies up equall the NCAA credits and which in turn is probably more than what GU is currently getting despite their success.  The MW admin doesn't need the tourney credit to run operations, they have a decent TV and Bowl $$ for that. 

Now the MW has been thinking about a system like the NY6 bowl where that $$ would be given 50% to the school but probably with basketball that won't qualify unless they are in the Great 8 or Final 4.
