Went to the emergency room for a strong pain in my sternum area last November
They did a CT scan and gave me strong meds. They didn't find anything problematic and I left, the pain eventually went way.
Just got all the bills for it and it totals $7900 for the 2.5 hours I was there. Sure insurance will cover most of it, but I still can't believe the cost is that high for no stitching, surgery, etc.
