Independence is way better than MWC.
MWC schedules were 1-2 P5 games annually, with 8 MWC games. 1 FCS game per year.
Indy is 4-6 P5s games with 3 MWC teams, mixed bag that equals the bottom of the MWC and 1 FCS.
Indy is better in every way schedule wise across the season. Not sure why you can't see it.
Now go look at 2019 and after, then let's have a real conversation on schedules.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced

I think if we have a good 10-2 type run, we probably get LV. But we do it again the next year, we would get NY6
