Jimmer still made mistakes, took bad shots and had defensive lapses, just the shackles were removed from his offensive creativity. I think Rose finally came to terms that players like Ben Murdock whose biggest asset was not making mistakes (but contributed little of anything), were only going to take him so far and when going up against better athletes and tougher competition he needed guys who could do more on the big stage.
