Even 08 & 09 were memorable because the program was stable & the teams were good
I just wish we could see what a stable BYU program could do as an Independent. The Taysom years were exciting but there was no stability because we were running a gimmicky offense that got QBs hurt. Give me four years of real BYU football as an Independent and it would be very easy to settle the G5/Indy debate.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
