I am simply a fan that looks at what is. I believe BYU has ZERO chance of getting a P5 invite. The SJW's assured that when the Big12 did its public expansion pageant. BYU's religious brand is toxic to the existing P5 conferences. I believe independence will result in the eventual elimination of BYU football. BYU has not shown an ability to compete at that level. If you can't compete, your brand means nothing, as eventually fans will stop buying tickets and change the channel.

Personally, I'd rather compete in the 6th best FB conference than live in FB purgatory. And, if independence is FB purgatory, the MWC is FB Hades, and I simply refuse to believe BYU will go there.
