I'll thumbs up you...the Indy experiment is failing; the WCC is good for
what is is: a conglomeration of small religious schools with small athletic budgets. Unfortunately BYU is neither small nor has a small athletic budget. We are a round peg in a square hole in that conference. BYU is not too good for the WCC; we are just too big.
Tom and the BYU admin need to figure out a way to stop (or at least significantly decrease) the slow bleeding of our two revenue sports (football and men's basketball). We are not trending in a good direction and it is their job to fix it.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
