Have you seen the actual contact wording, or just going by the CB rumor mill?
My guess is there's either an out for joining a conference or there's not. It would be tough to define a P5 conference in contract terms, nor would you want to lock yourself into just the current P5 conferences. The definition of a P5 conference could disappear tomorrow if they all merge into super conferences.

Why would their opponents agree to just let them out of major 7 figure contracts for any dumb reason?
