Not offended, but there seems to be a lot of glee
Imagining his supposed comeuppance. Which seems awfully petty. I for one am sad to see him go, but appreciative of his contributions, even if not 100% in agreement with everything he ever wrote and said. Talking about points of disagreement (as you've done), that's fine.
