those other possibilities I’m sure include Gonzaga (& BYU) moving only
basketball to another conference while keeping other sports in the WCC.
I can see the Big East, Big 12, and others open to accepting only Gonzaga’s basketball program. Limiting athletic traveling to only one very lucrative sport is something to consider.
The WCC would be a hurdle to that, but agreements for OOC matchups would lessen the sting.
