Per the donors I know, they stop paying up so much if BYU goes to the MWC. The AD knows it.
There might be some boosters who are on the opposite end of that, but I guarantee that the AD knows which way the wind blows from this source of funds.
SO actually, it would get much worse. Not just loss in TV revenues, but booster funds as well.
