I disagree that it's a good thing that a team that went to 2 straight finals can

add a top 3 player and go over the cap by $16 million. Thankfully Golden State was bored or injured all season so that people could pretend their was competitive balance in the NBA. If Curry is back healthy, they are going to blow through everyone again. Just watch. I don't see how that's good for the NBA. So if you love teams having the ability to stack themselves to win titles and distort competitive balance, then I can see why you would love the soft cap.
